ARTH is a public health organization founded in 1997, with a commitment to improve the health status among the under privileged communities in India, particularly focusing on women’s and children’s health. ARTH ‘s activities includes health services, research, training and advocacy to enhance public health care, health care policies and programmes.
ARTH delivers primary care services in a rural tribal population of 5 lakh in southern Rajasthan. The organization focuses in the area of SRMNCH and care of older persons.
ARTH proposes to recruit one full time Doctor to expand the scope of its clinical services. The Doctor’s key responsibilities will be as follows:
Provide outpatient clinical services to clients coming to the ARTH clinics. The clinical services will comprise reproductive and child health services, primary healthcare of older persons and general health problems.
Attend to minor emergencies, provide first aid and assist in referral of a major emergencies on-call basis.
Train other health staff in clinical work so that work is done as per protocols and rational treatment guidelines.
We are looking for a Doctor with MBBS and experience of 2+ years. Job location would be in rural areas of Udaipur district and nearby areas. This is a full time position that offers an opportunity to be part of an interesting learning experience at primary level of healthcare in a rural context. Residential facility will be provided at the rural health centre.
